What We Do

At Behavioral Karma Foundation, we offer a wide range of services to support families and individuals who are dealing with behavioral challenges. Our team of experts includes psychologists, therapists, and educators, who work together to provide personalized care and support to each individual. Our services include therapy and counseling, educational support, parent training and coaching, and community outreach programs. The Corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended ("Code").

 

In furtherance of such purposes, the Corporation shall engage in charitable and educational activities including but not limited to providing educational and other assistance to underserved communities of adults on the autism spectrum with a focus on improving their quality of life through the establishment of quality day programs, utilization of applied behavior analysis services and deployment of consultants that are Board Certified Behavior Analysts to conduct functional behavior assessments and create behavior intervention plans for residents in residential group homes, and provision of augmentative communication devices, basic necessities, and other resources to such residents.

 

Solely for the purposes set forth herein, the Corporation may engage in any and all other charitable, educational, and scientific activities permitted to an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Code. In furtherance of such purposes, subject to the foregoing limitations and those set forth below, the Corporation may do and engage in any lawful act or activity for which corporations may be formed under the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act (the “Act”).
