REBECCAMAE BOWERS, M.P.A.

Head of Agency

RebeccaMae Bowers, M.P.A., serves as the business consultant for Behavioral Karma and is also the Business Manager for the Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services at Rutgers, The State University. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in budgeting and financial management from Rutgers, Newark. Before earning her Master’s, she obtained her B.A. in Labor Relations from Rutgers, New Brunswick, and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Middlesex Community College. Currently, RebeccaMae is pursuing her PhD in Education Theory, Organization, and Policy and plans to continue her professional development in the future.

The mission of the Behavioral Karma Foundation is to ensure access to a greater quality of life for historically underserved communities through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

The Corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended ("Code").

 

In furtherance of such purposes, the Corporation shall engage in charitable and educational activities including but not limited to providing educational and other assistance to underserved communities of adults on the autism spectrum with a focus on improving their quality of life through the establishment of quality day programs, utilization of applied behavior analysis services and deployment of consultants that are Board Certified Behavior Analysts to conduct functional behavior assessments and create behavior intervention plans for residents in residential group homes, and provision of augmentative communication devices, basic necessities, and other resources to such residents.

 

Solely for the purposes set forth herein, the Corporation may engage in any and all other charitable, educational, and scientific activities permitted to an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Code. In furtherance of such purposes, subject to the foregoing limitations and those set forth below, the Corporation may do and engage in any lawful act or activity for which corporations may be formed under the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act (the “Act”).
